I am registering my car in Lake County which is no smog, so that is how I will get around that. I would say you will have to pay to get around smog.
I hope to be doing a small 6-8psi turbo b25

Mine will be turbo'd in the next few weeks, and I'm due for smog in January, but I'm getting a P.O. box in Jamul (small town in San Diego) where they don't require smog... But getting hood popped on the street is another story.Originally posted by audiquattrotbimmers b4 b*tches....remember that.

thanks for your informative answers everyone! I am considering it, would be used as a dd (whats wrong with having some turbo fun on my way to school?) and autocrossing mostly. Buttchug Im really curious to how the m42 handles boosting, doesnt seem like a sought after combo. You might be getting a pm soon.
