This makes it sound like it's mainly just a throttle response mod without any real power gains. :(

I didn't really notice a ton of power in the top end but the mid range like 2.5k-5k rpms improves a lot.

I got the miller and love it, the car woke up in mid rpm range and helped out a lot on auto x course where you modulate the throttle a lot.

been doing a lot of research on the Miller MAF kit. very interested and lots of bang for your buck from what i have read.

I havent been able to find what redline it raises for the m20 though? with or without the WAR chip. does anyone know? its not listed in Miller's FAQ on their site.

I'm siding on the "miller-adds-power" side of the fence. not necessarily peak but across the range, and particularly midrange as most proponents say. The old setup came on song at 4000rpm but a little lacklustre below.

Is that because its way better than a good AFM? Cant say, but it is definitely better than my 23yo AFM.

DuMa - havent seen redline figures, would suggest that consistent revving to redline on these older engines isnt a good idea, unless its a full rebuild and solid.

With the MAF, changing 1-2 and 2-3 at around 6000rpm still gets into the meaty powerband so why push harder?

I'm in the process of doing the Miller MAF.

As well as the chip, 272 regrind cam, KA motors intake, heavy duty rockers, I manifold conversion and I throttle body conversion along with cooling components and other crap. I will dyno my car and put up the numbers as soon as I do it :).
