Does a shorter oil filter exist?

Hey r3v, so i finally got around to my turbo project. Anyway, I used one of those cheap eBay manifolds(smart) and forgot about having read that they block the oil filter. Anyway a oil filter relocation kit is on order but i wondered if a shorter oil filter exists that would thread onto and match up to the e30 m20b27 block. I know that some GM oil filters are interchangeable and are just different lengths. Does anyone know if this oil filter exists for the m20 and what number or what make and model is it off of?

or you can delete the oil cooler setup completely and get one of the early year spin on deals that let u put the filter right to the block. You can find them on eta's at the junkyard and spend the 9$ for connector #5 here:

my 85 eta had an oil cooler from the factory. Not all eta's were cooler-less. Mine had a fuel cooler too. Top of the line man.

edit: now that I think of it, I'm not sure i'M thinking of the right car. So many cars, so many years, I kinda doubt myself these days.

And yes, my eta has no oil cooler.

I need my AC so can't rotate the oil filter housing 180', I need the oil cooler for my 10:1 stroker, I'm using the sandwich plate for a few sensors.... and I'm trying to make RD header work....
not sure about Specs on Toyota filte as someone mentioned abover, but it loos like WIX 7503 is closes small filter that matches M20 Specs. OEM filter bypass pressure is 30psi, this one is 36psi, most filters out there are 8-12 psi. Max flow is a little under the giant stock filter is 7-9 GPM and this one is 5-7 GPM, which is still under m20 oil pump's capability which is about 3.5-3.75 GPM at 6500rpm. And the best part is only 1mm larges in diameter but it's 41mm shorter, yes 41mm.
                    Hopefully someone finds it useful..

why do you need a sandwich plate? pressure sensor with built in switch for the warning light in stock location and temp in the oil filter housing bolt (drilled and tapped) is the simplest method.

sandwich plate is a cleaner setup IMO. Yes, it's pre filter oil pressure which can be interpreted well enough. IMO. Do you think it will leak or you have some other concerns about this type of setup? Thank you
