    super etas are still slow

I think people have the wrong idea about setas. That's my 2 cents for the day.

All E30's are slow. I don't see the point.

Indeed 127HP in a 2800lb car is slow but it's all about potential. 325i parts will bolt on so HP can be had cheap and with the 2.7 bottom end you can get the best of both worlds.

that ya'lls e30's are slow don't mean they're all slow. i just took mine around thunderhill faster than a carrera 4S and a new subi STI on 265 bfg R1s just to name only two contenders.. and that was my first time ever at that track and first time ever dealing with elevation changes (moved from FL).. then again my car is an e36m3 degraded into an e30 chasis.

          so lets try this again.
the vast majority of m20's are slow.
          No more e30s for me.

I mean a m20 is faster than a seta a chipped eta is faster than a seta. Why would u want a seta unless u go Turbo? It seems pointless for 27hp. And is that 27 HP at the wheel or crank?

Just because u can drive a slow car fast doesn't mean the cars not slow.

Driving a slow car at the limit can be a heck of a lot of fun.

Maybe before you rant about shit you have no knowledge of you should do some reading.

Nobody likes regular Super Etas, the whole point of them is the pistons were designed to work with the 885 head so if a head from an i is swapped on along with intake manifold and throttle body you get a significant power gain. Much better than a stock i engine.

I'd drive an eta as a daily. And really much more? A 885 head on eta block with 173 dme and cps and I intake will give u around 130-140 whp. Ur right that's so Much more than m20b25. What was I thinking, nvm guys setas are super fast I was wrong.

Sagaris don't get me wrong I'd much rather drive a slow car fast than drive a fast car slow. That's why I bought my e30, cheap thrills.

i swear you start the stupidest threads. Etas and super etas are different. Etas have flat top pistons, Super Etas have domed pistons like the b25, but designed for the 81mm crank and 130mm rods from an eta. If you put the 885 head on an eta, yes you get similar power as a b25. If you put the 885 head on a Super Eta, you get much more power than a b25.
