Check the filter, may have damaged it internally or crimped a line somehow.

Wish my E30 had a CEL.

Can this be checked with compression tester?
A different tool (Fuel pressure tester) must be used.

Could be a vacuum leak. I would check for tears in the intake boot. Pull it off and flex it back and forth and look for any cracks.

Similar thing happened to my friend on the freeway. He was cruising at 65 and his power cut off completely. It ended up being his Fuel pump.

Sounds like how it TWAS when my fuel-pump gave, and my fuel filter was also clogged.
                Replaced both, BAM.

Taking day off work ( I work for the Feds) and will get to bottom of this.

Current time is 755 am. Grabbing coffee and headed to pnp for parts.
                    Gonna be a good day.

Checked injectors. Visually okay, no leaks or fuel odor.
                        Cleaned afm.
Visual inspection of o2 looks okay, haven't pulled it.

Fuel filter was however dangling. Placed back up with the plate in place, strengthened with tie wraps.

I have a spare ecu I can throw in the mix if need be.

Also visual inspection of rockers are fine too.

Would bad coolant temp sensor do this too?

Car only fks up at running temps.

Also fuel pump is brand new Walbro 255. I'm ruling that out, but will check connections.

Check connection and check fuel lines. Your filter is plugged. if affter a while of sitting the car fires right up and revs, this is due to the filter and shit in it "settleing" but after a few moments of fuel pressure, all the shit clogs back up. This can also be troublesome to the fuel pump.

I usually jump the relay to my fuel pump and dissconnect the fuel return hose. Then I attach a longer hose to it that runs into a large bucket or gas can away from the car and outside where plenty of ventilation is availible. Switch on the pump and let it run for a few minutes. After a while it should start to run slower and the pump should be groaning instead of a whine.
Immediately swap the filter then repeat the testing phase. if it continues to run great then you have fixed your problem. if not, you have a faulty pump.

I recently drained my fuel in the tank and it came out a light brown with deposits. I poured the fuel out of the fuel filter from the filter side and it came out black. I would definitely start with this.

With the fuel relay disconnected you will want to jump pins 30 and 87 (noted on the bottom of the relay) to pump the fuel out. Change your fuel and main relay if they are old as well to prevent future suicides.
