    275 hp goal m20

so i want about 275 hp on my m20 engine, im rather new to the e30 realm but i would really appreciate the pointers. the engine was rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago. would a turbo kit be my best bet? i do NOT want to swap.

Yep, turbo is your best bet. 275hp is a walk in the park for a boosted M20. Do some reading here, there's lots of info: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=134

Meanwhile 275hp n/a will cost you a kidney and the car won't be street drivable.

I am relatively positive you could not hit 275 na.. the largest displacement is a 3.2 and even that barley makes s50 power

I'm 100% positive you could hit 275 na, not very many would want to spend the money it would cost however.

x2. I've got one customer in Switzerland who's right there.

Here's some more (though not the swiss gentleman).

for 275 bhp its not hard at all but you need to do things wisely (not a mismatch of parts like 95% of builds) and you need deep pockets.

                          Nitrous!

You might make it to 300 bhp!

But I do always wonder, in these posts, why 275? Why not 250? 300?
