Definitely positive 275 na is possible. Highly impractical, expensive as shit, and fucking phenomenal! Best way to go imo.

its not that much more expensive than the 240bhp jobs of which there are several in existence, its really just a better intake manifold and larger than typical camshaft.

pretty nuts. I guess all the strokers and m20s ive seen have been the typical lower compression (way lower compared to that 14.5:1 b28) and hardly 200whp. That is pretty badass If I had the money and expertise that would be some type of build I would shoot for.

            haha.... yes i support that.
As Doug said its not hard. It doesnt need to be hugely expensive either all the parts just need to work together and you need to pay a lot of careful attention to detail particularly with the head and intake size!!!

We made 265 at the wheels with my last engine, (later we went to smaller cam for reliability at constant high rpm and it droped to 245hp) it was only a 2.7 on pump fuel, it idled smoothly at 1000rpm reved to 8 and would still be a perfectly streetable engine if it had an organic clutch.

That second vid was epic. Throttle response was nuts.

The dyno is in shootout mode for that plot which I believe is some standardized method of estimating crank hp so that in theory you can go to any shootout certified shop and get the same readings on their dyno.

why do guys in Australia always set the bottom axis to KPH? argh!

anyway, I wanted to mention your build. not that it wasn't $$$ - but, yeah. you can do 275hp in an M20. and it's way cooler than a god damn M50NV..

also, boosting for $2k can be done.. but, you're just going to end up redoing most of that anyway. heck you could spend $2k on management and tuning, even using something like megasquirt..

If you take the time to research and read through build threads it can be done. Asking "what turbo should i use" shows you probably have not done much reading. I researched for a year before i bought any components (except the ecu) for my $2k build. Also not being in a hurry can save you money too. I've also put together a complete turbo setup based on a m21 mani, TCD chip and Begi for under a grand.
