Hey guys I bought some NGK ZGR5AGPs and the caps won't screw off? I actually broke the pole in one seeing if it was just really stuck. Anyone have this problem with them before?
It should be fairly obvious, the NGK plugs with removable nipples have a threaded hole all the way through the nipple so viewed from the top you see a shallow threaded hole. The fixed ones are solid on the top.
The part that means I wasted $50 lol. Leave it to Orilley's to not know what actually fits the m20. It's right on the website too so its not the workers fault.
Take some small pliers or a gorilla and twist those caps off and unscrew them. They're on stupidly tight but they do come off with some help. Just did it yesterday

as long as they are the removable type, dont try and remove the non removable ones you will end up with more than just the cap

They were nice about it and switched me out for the right plugs. I am surprised more people havnt had this priblem and Orilley's hasn't changed that. Does the m42 take the newer plugs?

Ah, it's all coming back to me now. The last time i went to o really for e30 plugs they sold me platinum or some other pencil dicked bullshits with fixed caps. Took them back for the correct plugs and told them to fix their parts listing since you actually could not use them on the car with OEM plug wires.
