    Which injectors should I get?

So I'm looking at changing my injectors and I was wondering which ones are good. I heard E36 injectors are common swaps from the stock M20 ones, but I just wanted to make sure. So, could anyone suggest which injectors I should get for my M20? If you could provide a link or two that would be great.

if there is actually something wrong with yours then something close to stock flow is recommended unless you have a chip that stipulates a certain type of injector

Nothing's wrong with mine. Just thought maybe putting a bit bigger injectors on my car would slightly help with performance.

nah leave it alone you wont gain anything meaningful over a good condition set of stock ones

Say your ran a chip, just for example, the $30 one on eBay. Then should you get larger injectors? Like the 19 lbs ones from the M50?

only if the chip "maker" specifies it.

Bigger injectors without proper chip is like inviting trouble makers to your party.

Your car will likely run rich if you do not match your injectors to your chip tune.

the ECU can compensate to some extent, but where i am coming from is why you would change from a perfectly functioning part to something that is not properly matched and offers no tangible benefit....

if they are stuffed and its cheaper to get a slightly bigger set then fine, the engine should run ok if it has been well maintained, hell i ran a 19lb set for a few weeks while doing some troubleshooting and it ran ok, its far from ideal and wouldnt do it longterm without a chip programmed with them in mind

Yes - I have had good luck with MEPEH injector service too!

If you do not have a chip upgrade yet you will feel a major difference with one. You could actually feel little to nothing by "upgrading" injectors without a proper tune.

I am going to try a SSSquid chip when I get the account built up. They tune to the specific injector.

MEPEH (Dmitri) and SSSquid are awesome. I ran SSSquid's 91 octane chip for the 173 DME before I installed Megasquirt. Definitely a noticeable difference in power.
