I think a lot of so called OE suppliers were at some point in time so they get to call themselves that. However they may not be at the moment and I'm quite sure no one can tell you who is and who isn't.
I'm also fairly certain that parts sold to a mfg such as BMW may not be the same quality as what they sell in the aftermarket. In fact if I was BMW I'd insist on it. Long story short is its a roll of the dice which is why I returned the "new" Febis I bought and bet my money on refinishing the ones that someone made for bmw
Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com
Yeah they are the design II's if that makes any difference they seem to have a tiny bit more structure under the eccentric from the 1st design.
Well i got my new cam from BimmerHeads today and threw it all back together will be staring her up tomorrow so i guess we will see how much longer they last eh? been on for a few years already
Okay, bumping this up. What's the state of Febi rockers in 2023 as compared to genuine BMW? Currently $23 for Febi or $54 for BMW on FCP Euro. I broke a rocker, so I only need one. Stock engine. Not interested in doing the whole head, I have another head I'd swap before I'd do that. Is there another rocker option I'm missing?
If you order rockers from the dealer, they will be the same as
the Febi rocker, minus the little id disc where it says FEBI
and instead you MAY get BMW.
So order yourself some Febis, pick the best and return the rest, and you'll be just fine.
