Stock cam markings

I have 2 supposed stock cams. One has zero markings on it, the other has a valvoline looking logo and 4 numbers (something like 1836).

Anyone have any input on this? Or could check their stock cams for any markings?

If someone doesn’t chime in with some info I will check my stock cam thats laying in my garage when i get home in a couple hours.

I think stock cam is marked by letter...B25 - letter K, B20- L and also they are color coded, pink and blue

Yes b25 cam has letter K on it. Along with these markings

Pics of one of the ones lying around. Looking at where the sprocket bolts, there are also two line and a "K" 120 degrees apart.





The other one in my head has an actual bmw stamp in the casting



And a few other letters.

The "vavoline"-esque logo is typically found on OE cams. If you suspect regrind, what is the base circle measurement?

I can take my measurements but I didn't think it was a regrind, but aftermarket. It was a parts car head that made a very noticeable difference in acceleration. I noticed when I took everything apart install a 284.

But the markings look exactly like the cam Yosh posted.

edit: Nevermind, I have no idea how to take measurements with the cam in the head. I thought I could reach around things with a set of calipers. Nope.

Lift is easy to measure. Put a straight edge across the valve cover gasket surface and measure down to the base circle, then point the lobe up and measure again.
