if you can use an m30 harness, do it. I found it to be MUCH easier to use.

Post some clear pictures, I might be able to help as I've taken a couple of those apart and I am using one of them in my car.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

That's an automatic e32/e34 harness with a big chunk of stuff cut off.... I would use another e32/e34 harness or use the e30 harness you have.
It's not EASIER to use an e30 harness, think about it, the e32/e34 harness is MEANT for the m30, no wire cutting/extending needed like with the e30. Plus, e32/e34 harness looks cleaner.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

go to the junk yard and get ANY m30 harness that's complete. I am running a harness from an automatic and it's fine. I'm just not using the automatic bits. I got mine frmo the JY for $30. Trust me it's easier.
I tried the m20 harness, and it didn't run for shit. Probably my fault all along, but I'd rather have a true plug and play system then have to cut and lengthen.

dont go and get just "ANY" m30 harness. Make sure it is from an e32 or e34 its what you need. The early harness will not work with a b35 ecu or some of the sensors like the crank reference sensor and temp gauge sensor.
plus the motronic 1.3 looks better and runs better
im running the late harness on my b34 and its great
why has no one said anything about the doors...
and how did you plumb your brake booster? I couldnt see in the pictures
