if you can use an m30 harness, do it. I found it to be MUCH easier to use.

i started to us the m30 harness but realized that the place i bought the motor from ripped off some wires so all i have is the injector box nd wires
can i still use it or just stick to the e30 harnessComment

this is all i have that came with the m30 motor (talking about the harness) which should be the first pic the rest are just misc. thats why i prefer to use the e30 wire harness because i already have everything for it nd i heard that its a lot easier to work withAttached FilesComment

That's an automatic e32/e34 harness with a big chunk of stuff cut off.... I would use another e32/e34 harness or use the e30 harness you have.

go to the junk yard and get ANY m30 harness that's complete. I am running a harness from an automatic and it's fine. I'm just not using the automatic bits. I got mine frmo the JY for $30. Trust me it's easier.
I tried the m20 harness, and it didn't run for shit. Probably my fault all along, but I'd rather have a true plug and play system then have to cut and lengthen.Comment

dont go and get just "ANY" m30 harness. Make sure it is from an e32 or e34 its what you need. The early harness will not work with a b35 ecu or some of the sensors like the crank reference sensor and temp gauge sensor.
plus the motronic 1.3 looks better and runs better
im running the late harness on my b34 and its great
