Option two is two cut off the 25pin and splice a 20pin in it's place. To do either option if you choose to do it yourself you need to look at the ETM for the year/model this engine
came out so you can trace all the needed wires by their functions. Do not go simply by colors, sometimes they match up and sometimes they don't...so it's best to go by the actual functions of each wire and match them up.
I would not touch or cut off the chassis side plug, leave that one alone :)Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

Start matching up the wires, all the info is in front of you or confirm it all by looking through an ETM for your CAR and the Engine.. You'll have to go page by page and look for any/all mention of c101/x20 on the diagrams and take notes. This isn't very difficult, try it and actually learn what goes where and why :)
If you don't want to do this source an automatic or manual b35 harness from an earlier e34/e32 car.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
