Pretty good. Got the motor and trans re-installed and most of the wiring hooked up. Need a few little things before its ready to fire up, but I am hoping to have my car running by the weekend.

I'll post pics of my car when its running and all back together. Although I am starting to like the look of it with no hood and grille. :)

not quite unfortunately, haven't put forth the greatest of effort in regards but hey, got most of it done! wiring is semi plugged in, and the driveline is in too.

I got me finger stuck between a trailing arm and rear subframe while tossing it, cussed in front of a father of three thinking my finger nail was gone and simply nothing had happened.. left finger nail tracings on the subframe though! hehe

So here is the c101 for an 1984 318i L-jet m10, it slightly differs from what is shown in franks swap guide, so here it is:

here's what I did on my 84 m10 to 90 m30 harness (735i).

m10 --- m30
pin 1 -- pin 1 blue
pin 2 -- pin 2 i didn't write down the color
pin 4 -- pin 4 brown/yellow
pin 6 -- pin 6 green/yellow
pin 7 -- pin 13 green/violet
pin 8 -- pin 18 black/yellow
pin 10 -- pin 7 green
pin 16 -- pin 5 brown/green
pin 17 -- pin 11 white/green
edit: no adapter, spliced the m30 connector directly on to my harness.

don't forget to do the wires in the glove box to get your cluster working.
white -- pin 3 black/white
black -- pin 9 black
edit: i didn't route these wires to the harness connector, i just did it in the glove box to the ecu.

Studying for right now, looks like I'm leaving sooner than expected, but that means starting my career.
I plan on bringing this car with me so updates will be on a rampage soon, not that theirs a lot left.
