Sorry, to clarify i used Garagistic mount arms and g-man poly urethane mounts, instead of the oem rubber bushings

I'm using the G-Man mounts too, they're fantastic. Absolutely no more NVH than stock, but far better motion control of the motor under high-G forces.Comment

Hey Burns,
any chance that you ran into IE headers fitment issues because of being too far back?
I remember reading somewhere that someone ran IE headers with OEM rubber bushings (instead of the polyurethane) and only put the firewall back about an inch and a bit.
I want to run the IE headers, but I dont want to run into the same situation you did!Comment

Christ yes.
I had many fitment issues.
Not sure if it's because I have a vert, but I needed some very custom exhaust bending($$$$$) to make them clear the tranny tunnel, and had to hammer in one header to clear a mount bolt.
They have a great sound, not really sure about actual performance tho.
They looks great too.
Heres a link to my experience with ie headers and garagistic mounts.

Yeah, maybe i'll just bite the bullet and get and try to weld one up.
Going to lay my m20 exhaust down, and try to copy it with some 2.5" pipe and a cheap magnaflow on the back.
Thanks for the help! Love how your car turned out.Comment
