Haha there is definatly oil in there, about 5.5 quarts with the oil cooler. I actually dont know if the pump is working, it came from a running engine so I really hope it is.

It has a hard time ideling right now, i have to put something small inbetween the throttle so it can idle on its own, at like 1500 RPMs, but it runs fine there. I'm guessing/hoping its because I have no exhuast and O2 sensor. I'm having my car towed to the exhaust shop tomorrow morning. We will see tomorrow I guess. Somebody pray for me.

There should be suction, yes. If your sender is good and you are showing 0psi, you could have a bad gauge or something? Is there oil in the motor?? Haha... is your oil pump ok?

If I take the oil cap off while the car is running and it is sucking the cap in, thats good right?

Becasue my oil pressure light is on, and my oil pressure gauge reads 0. I'm almost certain that the senders work.

Assumptions made because a friend installed a S38 from a E34 into his E23 and used the E23 mounts on the S38 engine,.
And they for E30´s use the later style M30 motor mounts.
Assumptions? Those aren't good enough around these parts. Mounts designed for E28 M30's don't even bolt up to E34 M30's. That's no assumption.
