I found a driveshaft out of a 87 325e four door. The driveshafts should be the same, right?

2 and 4 door are the same for driveshafts.

If you use my mounts, you shouldn't have to modify the shifter carrier, or selector rod.

Byron, do you have the pinout information for the B35 and your 86 E30?

New question: I want to get the 533i/M5 flywheel and clutch for my car. They are the same kit, right? Where would be the best place to get them, and is there a better choice?

I wasn't aware that the 533 and m5 had the same flywheel. What transmission? I believe that the m5 flywheel can be run with any clutch specific to trans and 3.5L.

Byron, the 533 and M5 (and 633, M6, M635) all shared a flywheel. That being said, AFAIK, all big 6 clutches will fit all big 6 flywheels.

The E34 M5 clutch is without doubt, the "big daddy" of the bunch, but any clutch for a big six will take whatever abuse you can throw at it. Remember the E30 is quite a bit lighter.

I have a used E34 M5 clutch that just came in, but I have yet to actually see it. I generally don't sell used clutches, but this would be so overkill in an E30, that even used it will probably outlast the life of the car.

Sounds like I am getting a normal m30 clutch then. Would it just be best to use a 533i clutch and flywheel package?
