Yeah, i guess it's a hit or miss with those guys. I'll make sure to bring doughnuts if the appointment is in the AM lol.

I am going to buy a new magnaflow cat, I guess cat law changed in cali and you have to buy a specific cat for it to be legal. I am looking at about $350 for a cat.

No idea, we'll come up with something. I don't want it to be too loud but somehow nice and throaty.

Sounds like you better get on it before the tranny gets turned into dust.
Not when you are going from a 4cyl to a 6cyl chassis. If I was dropping this into my 89 325i shell that would be another story I think.

So, the long block is done. I dropped off the last few dirty items (alternator/ps brackets/tb etc) to get hot tanked and should have it all done next weekend.

Joe - with the b35 mounts do I not use the lower bracket for the intake manifold? There is no clearance for it. Or am I supposed to move the bracket to the left like an oem bracket?

can someone tell me what I am missing here?

I realized that I probably ordered a wrong temp sensor (e34 instead of e30)... doh.

Man that one came out perfect, I wasn't even looking, I just saw you had the camera in hand while I was talking to Cam.
