it does work surprisingly well for a "snake oil" type product - all that white smoke is actually carbon being burned out of the combustion chambers. :D

I <3 Seafoam. Just used it on my new E30 (which had been a grand total of 25 miles in the last 7 years). Huge difference. Great stuff. It also made a noticeable improvement in the feel of my R56 Cooper S when I did it a year after purchase. :)sigpicComment

you put some in the oil?I did a full seafoam treatment.
Crank Case, through a vacuum line, and in my gas.
It gained a surprising amount of pep as well as curing a HORRIBLE rattle which I assumed was my timing chain tensioner being bad or a stuck lifter...The engine runs and sounds completely normal now, even on cold start ups.
I will likely change the oil and go through the process again. I'm extremely happy with this and it has re-ignited my vigor to keep prepping this car!
be sure to change your oil after a little while.

Yes it's pretty common just like the m47 crank swap, but that costs alot more money. If you want less work, get a block from an m44, get high comp pistons and rods and bolt your head on. You'll have a lot more useable power.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
