The kit will happen as long as some people get in. I am/was planning on building the kit over my Christmas vacation (I am a school teacher by day). Break starts on the 17th...

I need two people to commit by Thursday of this week (December 6th) so I can get parts ordered and here by the 17th. That means TWO people putting down $500 deposits the end of the week with the remainder due before shipping each kit.

If that does not happen the kit production will get pushed back.....as I have other projects waiting and limited time. So if you are 100% in and ready, please PM me ASAP.

If this does get pushed back more than likely it will be early spring...again all depending on interest and if people actually get in.

No one? I'm completely down, I just don't have the money at this time.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

One response yesterday...so if that goes though I will make the kit. Might be more in the beginning of the year. Have LSx stuff to do in the next couple weeks. But with that said...looking like turbo manifolds will be tig welded now.....as I picked up a TIG

Hey this might be a dumb question, but will the tune be able to take elevation and temperature changes into account?

                Comment

It is using the stock motronic so yes it will be able to adjust for elevation and temp changes. Remember I will offer tune adjustments for the life of the kit for free unless you change the kit a great deal.

The turbo and intercooler showed up yesterday...finishing up some other things before I can start on the kit. It will be a couple weeks I expect.

I get real excited about this - then keep coming back to how a bolt-on kit should be something one can bolt on in the driveway.

Please do excuse me for I am certainly no expert on turbo installations - but I can't help think how much cooler this would be if the downpipe simply connected to a stock cat section.

I guess what I'm asking is if there's something that can be done which would eliminate the need to make (or have the car towed to) an exhaust shop to complete the installation.

Moving along slowly...finishing some other stuff first. I have the parts car home now that I will be mocking everything up on.

as attractive as a bolt-on install would be, i don't think i'd want to try and feed all that exhaust through a stock cat. did something similar with a nissan s13 and an rb20det engine and i didn't enjoy the results.
