    m42 with m52 flywheel

I found a lightweight flywheel for sale on local classifieds. It is a 10 lb flywheel. I am wondering if this will work on an m42 with a g240. Now if I pair this with a stock or m20 pressure plate or clutch, will it work on the m42? It looks like the oem clutch is 228 mm vs 240 mm for the m3 but that shouldn't matter.

I believe the starter motor ring gear/teeth should work correctly and it should bolt up. Any thoughts or opinions?

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Based on RHD's site, the M4x and M5x engines (not M54) can all use the same flywheels and 228mm M20 clutch parts.

I just recently received my RHD flywheel, and at 7.4lbs it's going to be a ride lol.

...buut, you'll need to use a 240mm clutch and pressure plate with the JB Racing flywheel.
        As it's for an M3.

M20, M42 and M5x are dimensionally the same, as far as the flywheel is concerned.
