MMP M62B44 Build Project "Jack-N-Coke"

I don't normally do build threads. But this build is for me a first and much wanted.
One thing that I have always wanted was an E30 with lots of HP!
This thread is not only for me to use as a sound board for what is going on with the build...

Now for the build.
Well I picked up the mount kit last week as well as sub-frame spacers 20mm
which I have got Friday soo excited..


Next up the project car.
While drinking heavily at Car-B-Q I closed a deal on very Nice 91 318 M42 car. I know the car well, I've worked on it before with the PO.
Got lucky with this one. It's already rolling on suspension and well done drill-n-filled Style 5's, M-tech 1 wheel, and My favorite interior Color.
-Minus the Euro plates and fillers, and ditching that homo roof rack..

First up for the project is my MMP BBK...


Now I'm working on picking up a full running donor car 540 or 740
If I'm not able to find something in my price range, I have a few fall back motors in my area.

I've already been looking around in this forum section and looking forward to starting this thread.

So I have a 4.10lsd coming out of the 318 that I would like to give and even swap for a 2.93lsd for this build..

this thread should start out slow but build fast.
I have one motor build in front of this. But as soon as it done I'm diving in to this with everything I've got...

4.1 LSD is way too short for V8, no idea using too short gears as you'll just waste the flat'n'wide torque curve the M60 produces.. 3.2 - 3.4 would suit it much better.
