Looking good, I like the water tube mod.

Where are you plumbing in your expansion tank?

        Comment

Was planing on using the port at front off the water pump (b44 pump has 3 ports, 2 large, 1 small like an early 325e ) Not sure but i think the 7, and 8 series
          B44's used a front tank.
There was no provision for it on the stock water tube.
That tube that i modified was off an early b30.

Ok didn't take any pic's but I installed my AKG shifter and pulled the after market radio and 6 button clock crappy thing.

Got the stock radio today, and soldered in the Aux cable so I can run my pandora from my phone. :nice:

Now just need to install the upgraded stock radio.
Then find, buy and install a euro clock to complete my dash re-fab

              Ok. Back to it right?
At work to day mocked up a shift lever/rod
For my swap, running a 8 11/16" rod.
Looking to build a weighted rod. With a switch over to balance the feel.. you'll see
But for now here's my mock up. So far this $hit feels awesome, love this AKG

Then mounted the radio after making the final upgrades. This $hit not only plays my pandora it also charges my phone..
It has such a nice clear sound its hard to believe how old this radio is...
Fμcking love the stock look too...:nice:

So today I got a interior light dimmer setup from RedRocket Labs. (George Graves)
Installed it and it works awesome!

So yet again, I have succumb to my weakness and spent more money on this build.. ugh
But i'm soo happy with this buy and excited for the build
I'm doing what I can to make this a detail oriented build. I want everything to be just perfect.

So back to my weakness

So i pulled the motor back out to start the header build. But before i did i took a few pic's of my weighted shifter linkage.
This really cleaned up allot of slop and also made the "shift" it self... for a lack of a better word perfect, to me...

That's sick! I also plan on going with the AKG console. What flex disc is that?

Ok did some fab/welding work today. Took the leap and after a ton of measuring, fitting, re measuring, and double checking i finally
Welded in the remote booster box.
Did my best to keep everything on the outside of the frame rail. Looking to get the best fitment and uncramped engine bay.
I'm almost finished. Need to fill a gape. I cut a little too much off the frame. Will fix and repair tomorrow. Then cleanup the bay before we setup for paint. Almost there...

Ok so finished up the brake lines and booster build. It's all installed and bleed.
Had to pull it out a few time. took the time to hide all the lines in plane site. going for a stockot'ish look. had a few leaks. Got them all sorted out and found my rear driver side claiper had a blockage in the line between the Rear "T" block and the brake. So pulled that all apart found the issue. Re-installed, Re-bleed and it's perfect.. So now the car it self it finished in the fab stage of the build. now just have to sort out the Exhaust setup and starter wire setup before installing the motor for the last time.. I would like to think I'm on the down hill side of this build, but i have a feeling I'm not..

                                And installed the evap can...
