Yeah at this point I'm leaning towards trashing the abs.

Please take pix and document if you do. It's simple but very little info out there on it. More info the better.

Had a lot of medical problems over the past 6 months which caused me to move to be closer to my doctor. And also couldn't really get out of bed for a long time... so there has been absolutely no progress.

I got back to my garage for the first time this weekend and got a bit of stuff done. Suspension is now completely done. Had the rta's welded and powdercoated, they look pretty nice. Threw those in last night. I'm getting the wheels today. Got them from CCW, both 18"x10.5" I believe... can't quite remember, ordered them like 6 months ago.

And I mentioned this a while back about Sikky, but I think I'm gonna work with them to make a steering shaft for the e36 rack to the airbag column. Just in case anyone else is interested in one of those.

Realistically, that sikky steering stuff is just a different length rod. I think it just needs to be a bit longer. They made one for the E36 that I saw the other night when I was there. Maybe just get that one and cut it down to the right size and send them the specs.

I think the spline count is different as well. So the airbag/non-airbag columns are different lengths? I've never seen a non-airbag column to know what the differences are.

It's been a while. I've owned both types. I think the airbag one has only 1 u-joint while the non airbag has two. Or something like that. I also think they have the same spline count. But now I don't recall if I got that far or not.

I think sikky seemed pretty sure they had different spline counts. But im gonna count that today so well find out.

Whats the spline count for the non-airbag? I got 36 for the airbag column.

So I took the ABS unit out today. I'm planning on cutting back the hardlines back to where the MC sits, and just trashing the line that went straight to the ABS. Then I'll run new short hardlines to connect to these existing lines. Anyone know where you can buy specified lengths of brake hardline with fittings already on? I saw that in a thread earlier but can't remember where it was.

Also mocked up the wheels today, and damn do they look large on an e30. I'm hoping they look better when they are tucked up and under some flares, but they look way too big when theyre just hanging there under the fender.

                            lol....

I've been searching like all day today trying to find a part number or somewhere that sells a 17/17mm master cylinder. I know that porsche used to use them in some of their older cars, but I can't find anything. My google skills are subpar today. Anyone know where I can find one?

I'm trying to fit an ls3 with sikky mounts and headers.
