    1987 Cabrio Taillights

I bought a set of taillights off of eBay and they arrived with the circular wiring loom. After attempting to install, I realized I have the early model wiring loom which is long and narrow. (I can provide photos, but I’m sure most everyone knows exactly what I’m talking about.)

my question is, is there a conversion or adapter wiring loom that I can purchase to make these work?

thanks for all help in advance!

They are completely different tail lights and not interchangeable, not without body and electrical work.

The taillights dimensions are actually the same. It’s the skinny early model taillight that has a late model loom on it.

so again, is anyone aware of a look or connector to make it work?

Are you talking about aftermarket lights?

Thanks for the help. Ended up selling locally and buying another pair where I could see the connector first.
