Dyno days aren't bad if you get a group going, I believe a local group was getting together and it was going to be $50-75 or something. It'll be a bit more depending on how much tuning you need, but as we've stated, when you mess with your fuel/air mix and delivery, it's common sense that the car has to be tuned to run with these changes.
The adjustable FPR is used to set the fuel pressure at different pressures (duh), which means you can adjust it higher or lower to reach the optimum fuel delivery to match your new increased airflow. The stock one can't do that. While there may be some truth that the stock ecu can help compensate for the increased demand for fuel brought on by the larger injectors and AFM, it can't be relied on to make the perfect mixture. If the maximum pressure of the stock FPR is lower than your needs, than the ecu can't make it work any harder - you need to upgrade.
