I explained the PVC "reinforcements" with my old high school buddy who works for the Grayson BMW $tealership as tech here in Knoxville and he didn't seem to see any problem with it especially when he compared it to the time they spend doing the OEM replacement job and how much they charge at the $tealership to do the job.
