wrench from bike shop. i "rented" it for 10 bucks, no deposit. this was after i wasted 30 bucks by buying the craftsman open end being stubborn thinking it would fit. It literally took me a couple seconds to get it off by just jamming a screwdriver in to hold it. There wasnt that much pressure on the screwdriver though, it came off easily.

I usually 'wack it' towards the passenger side but then again I'm right handed.

if you are hitting it towards the passenger side then you are tightening? i dont see how hitting it toward the passenger side could loosen it??

I never even thought about that lol. You are correct.

Though it unfortunately was my weak assed attempt at innuendo. ;)

would this combo be better than that pedro's wrench or do you still need the pulley holder when you use the pedro's wrench.

i can get that setup for $68 so i was just wondering.
