Ambient temp sensor could be the issue. It will mess up the wideband feedback loop adaptations.

....but I've been wrong before.

Yeah ambient. I didn't think so either, but it does - earlier versions only used it for AC, but MS45 and later also use it as part of the lambda feedback loop.
