Bosch no longer producing Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR)

I checked Bosch's website and they are no longer producing the FPR.
    Almost everywhere is sold out.
NAPA has Echlin and Delphi brand.
    What should I do?

Buy what you can or get a used one.

Apologies...I'm not familiar with the difference in these manufacturers, but what's wrong with Echlin or Delphi?

Well, Bosch is the OEM for starters. In fact, the Motronic was designed by Bosch. However, I don't know anything about the other manufacturers.

Welcome to the joys of owning an old car.

I don't think you can get an ECU any more, either.

Eventually, they'll stop making engine parts entirely.

Fuel pressure is easy- use the aftermarket stuff, and if it doesn't
work right, get a conversion kit to use an aftermarket remote regulator.

This is going to become the norm, you know...

Echelon has been around for decades and was a go to after market brand and Delphi was a part of GM until they were spun off some years ago. I think either of them would know how to make a reliable FPR

My warehouse carries, both a Bosch, and a Pierburg unit. Both are OEM specification. You just have to know where to look. I almost never see them fail. FWIW

Several of my usual go-to suppliers have Pierburg brand FPRs in stock. Don't know anything about Pierburg.

I ended up with Pierburg off UK eBay. What are these suppliers you speak of? FCP Euro recommended but said none of their suppliers had it.

AutohausAZ lists it as available. FCP lists it as "ships in 1 day." Interesting that they could not get it.
