I removed all my A/C components, I took everything out, the ziptied the fan on the front side of the radiator, and hooked the A/C fan back up to its stock harness.
    Works great.
Hey dude, can you post up pics of your setup? My memory has faded a bit about it

so after reading this thread there are 2 things that are not exactly cleared up for me...

is the fan that sits in the front of the car, the electric one, supposed to cut on ONLY with the AC on or when it reaches a certain temp. cause mine never cuts on and i over heat often..I tried fixing the wires and such but it still doesnt cut on. my ac also doesnt work at the moment so that may be why.

Second...if the big ass stock m20 motor fan is removed and replaced with an electric fan why would the clutch be left on. the only reason I would see to do that is to remove the weight.(less mas to rotate) otherwise its much less trouble to just get a new clutch and the fan wil spin pretty fast im guessing. My car constantly overheats and I think its cause my clutch is bad. ive been looking into these electric fans and am still not exactly sure which route I should go with
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.

That fan on the front is also supposed to turn on to help cool the engine when it gets really really hot.

I will mention - I run a fan I bought off ebay in front of my radiator (so a pusher), wired to the m42 switch (turns on sooner) and I also have it wired so I can turn it on myself. I drove the car constantly in Palm Springs, CA - where I'd see temps over 110 in heavy traffic. Not once did I come close to overheating. No fan clutch either.
