yeah a oil pump would never fail on a stock motor and cause the pressure to drop....

Especially on one that's 20 years old. Never.

which is why there is an idiot light on the dash which you are likely to notice before the gauge?

if the light comes on then your motor is already screwed. A gauge shows the pressure droping not just "ok" or "not".

The point is, a air/fuel guage on a narrowband is at least 33% accurate, seeing as how there is 3 readings. So it isn't pointless. So a simple wire colour would have sufficed instead of rediculous replies.

yes it is pointless, because it's just going to bounce back and forth and show you nothing. a narrow band can read 14.7, it can't read any other AFR.

if you really wanted to know, you'd use your brain and find a wiring harness chart for your car and figure it out yourself.

                This:

Might give you a ROUGH estimate as to how your engine is running.

                As will this:

                However this:

Is a useless piece of crap that is sold primarily to idiots who believe that they need it, and ricers. (did I repeat myself?)

Also, if your an idiot light kinda guy, what in the hell are you hoping to accomplish IF this did in fact give you any kind of usable information? I betcha your gonna "tune" your AFM to fix it right?

if you have a narrowband sensor, yes.

Actually no. I'm not using to to tune my AFM, I drive an e, it is the definition of slow. Nevermind I found the wire colour, you guys are useless.

And I have a Zenitronix LC-1 wideband in my garage i'm putting in with my e-manage and turbo setup, I just don't want to tear apart my cars harness when I can resell it when I get the I head on.
