As stated, the solution is 96+ M3 control arms. Treehouse cabs have the same offset as M3 cabs, just lower profile and stiffer so they will not change your castor at all.
I do not know for certain why the M3's front wheels are not centered but a shorter wheel base allows faster turn in and steering response as well as a smaller turning radius, all good things in a sports car, even if it looks dorky.
Other than the above and $400 for new arms, the only drawback is if you run larger tires and lower suspension. It is possible for them to rub in front of the wheel at full lock. This can be countered by running the stock suspension though.
