Yes. Notice that car is iX. Front hubs in ix are same type as rear hubs. The reason to use 1-series hub is, because it is only 10mm wider than ix stock hub. For examle e30 m3 rear hub is ~20mm wider.

    E30 325ix

    Front:
    -e87 (1 series) rear hubs
    -e46 330i/d discs (325x25)
    -e32 735i calipers

    Rear:
    -e36 compact rear hubs
    -e34 m5 discs + calipers (300x20)

Wheels MOMO arrow 8x17" et15 (too small ET for ix - torque steering issues)

    Will post pics later...

It gets more redefined each day it I go to work. Its rust/paint/metal. I am redefining hoods.

But I really do hate the hood with a passion. I have been to lazy to look for a new one.

215/40 I think. The front I have the rattle clips in but my break pads are worn down to about 50%. On the rear I now have 3mm spacers and it fits perfect with my fenders. Now my fenders are rolled flat but even without spacers you will need to roll your fenders.

    I hope this helps

I have camber plates, and I haven't installed e36 m3 control arms yet. So there's the look, if you don't install 96+ m3 control arms. I got the arms (ball joints installed), but haven't had enough time to install them yet. In a few weeks, I'll get it knocked out.

Aptyp, what are you gonna use up front on your car to center the wheels? you still have the stock upper mounts? I tried my strut hats in the centered position and there was only an inch between the rear of the tire and the wheel opening. with the caster set to the foward postion i had almost 2 inches, maybe closer to 1-1/2 between the tire and wheel opening. not a whole lot but still suprised me. i can now look at my front wheels and not be pissed off that my swap was a waste of time..
now if only somebody would build a CAB that brought the control arm even closer to the framerail i'd be set

you are correct in your thinking, but it's still the best way to perfectly center the wheel.

Im thinking of buying 4x100 to 5x112 adpaters for my E30 so I can run mercedes/porsche wheels. Has this been done before? good idea or bad?

To my understanding ADDING caster (kicking wheel forward) would be what helped, not subtracting it. Someone chime in if I am wrong here, but last I checked when we swap to the Offset Control Arm Bushings we are adding caster.
