    Its a myth. M knuckles and non M knuckles are the same (relation of the centerline of the spindle to the centerline of the balljoint)

    The only difference I saw when comparing them side by side was the offset of the brake caliper was completely different.

        interesting.. and good to finally see that somebody has compared the two.
        i wonder still what it is that causes some guys' swaps to end up with the front wheels off center in the wheelwell, and others end up looking fine

            -'97 E36 M3 front complete strut/brake assemblies with stock E30 strut mounts on top
            -Z3 1.9L rear complete: trailing arms / hubs / brakes
            -'97 E36 M3 control arms
            -E30 offset control arms bushings, polyurethane
            -Ireland Engineering polyurethane trailing arm / sub-frame bushings
            -Ireland Engineering weld-on toe/camber correction kit
            -E30 fitment H&R Sport springs
            -'97 E36 M3 front Bilstein Sport struts
            -E30 rear Bilstein Sport shocks
            -Eibach swaybars, 22mm front and 19mm rear

            -17" x 7.5" BMW style 32, Radial Spoke wheels, et41
            -215/40/R17 tires

            Notes: Rubbing in front only lock to lock on the inside, on the frame. No rear rubbing with 5 people in car and no catching lip on front fender either.

                I have an opportunity to pick up a set of MoMo Mirages with center caps. really debating it right now :( I don't really like the looks, but I could have them powder coated and polish. Should I?
