you should add that 16 inch basket weaves from an E38 with 10mm don't fit. Grinding some portions is a must. Unfortunately it isn't the fluid passage or even the center of the caliper that rubs, it is more of the sides.Ok guys I started a wheel fitment database and hosted it on my website. Let me know if you have any additions.Leave a comment:

I'd go with Hawk HPS front and rear for a good street/moderate track setup.
PM sent regarding brake line adapter fittings.Leave a comment:

great thank you. Should I go with pads in the back that are more "grabby" than the front because of the balance difference? I have akebono euro on my E34 with M5 brakes now and I like them. What is recommended for the E30 big brake setup? I will be mostly street driving with limited track use. thanks again.
BTW do you happen to have extra fittings that I would need to use to get the E30 brake lines to fit the rx7 calipers?Leave a comment:

The only reason i can think of for changing boosters is if you're doing a 24v motor swap and the intake manifold won't clear the booster. I'm not sure where your friend heard that, but it's not true.Leave a comment:

cool! thanks for the info. Just to clarify then, I will be ok with the OE E30 325 booster and master then? And I won't have to go find an E21 booster and all that nonsense?Leave a comment:

That's a total myth. The total piston area of the RX7 caliper is almost identical to the E30 caliper.I just bought an E30 and it came with the Corrado rotors and Rx7 calipers and brackets. I just need to install them.
My friend who I bought the car from said I should replace the master cylinder and the booster with one from an E32, because the E30 one probably isn't sufficient enough to drive this big brake kit.
For those of you who have installed it, is this true? Or am I fine with the E30 master and booster? thanks!Leave a comment:

Most deep dished wheels were designed with aesthetics as the #1 priority. Unfortunately, brake clearance was the least of their worries.
Let us know if you get them to fit and post pics!Leave a comment:

I just got a set of 16x9 et15,3inch lip baby lol, and looks like I need to run some big spacers. Looking around 25mm. Going to mount 'test' tires and remeasure.
I guess anyone looking to run wheels with some lip should get them in negative offsets.Leave a comment:

This thread rocks. I will die happy knowing I contributed goodness to the E30 community.Leave a comment:

+1 I would never even think of putting my type As on my car that has the BBK. Those wheels dont even fit with the stock caliper without spacers and the Mazda caliper is much thicker.Leave a comment:

Those are some sweet wheels, but i don't see them fitting your car at all. 16x9 et10 is already poking out of your fender. You'll probably need 20mm spacers to clear the calipers which puts them WAY out of the fenders. Let us know if you get it to work.Leave a comment:
