Good thread. So with 15x7 et 24 euroweaves I'd need a 3-5mm spacer? with the caliper ground down? Doesn't seem too bad.

quick quesiton, I have some et10 borbet Bs that will not clear my stock calipers(by like 3mm) up front-

how much more room do the rx7 calipers require compared to the stock set up? I need to order spacers but I am not sure how big of a spacer I need....

The rotors you use are from a G60 (4-cyl) VW Corrado with the center bore opened up 1mm. You also need adapter brackets to mount the caliper to the knuckle and a fitting to convert the mazda inverted flare to the BMW bubble flare.

The Rx7 calipers are really wide, so you need a wheel with enough clearance on the backside of the spokes. That's what this thread is for!

20mm spacer (could get away with 18 though)
    No grinding of caliper required

    Rota slipstream 15x8 et15

    Both clear by a ton.
I just bought a set of 15x8 Rota Slips to replace a set of Ronal LS's (so that these brakes can be mounted). I also have a set of TR Motorsports 15x8 as track wheels. I'm doing the brake conversion this Wednesday, so I'll report back with fitment for the TR's.

Soon will have a set of Ronal LS's for sale!

    I have tried:
    Rota slipstream 15x8 et15
    Kosei K1 15x7 et17

    Both clear by a ton.

Ya it was hard enough getting those over my stock brakes with new pads. These brakes would be impossible without a huge spacer.

I dont remember the pads but they are of ceramic compound to match my rears. The rotors are R1 concepts or something like that. I got them off ebay and they also make E30 kits so all my rotors match.

OP: are your style 5s the redrills?

Ya I already have a 5mm spacer but if I go any bigger I run into fender issues. I have about 2-3mm of caliper clearance.

looks great. but wow is that close to the spokes.

what about adding a 3-5mm spacer? you have the lug space.
