Best aftermarket solution for front disks?!?

Well,I m soon gonna change my front disks and would like to improve my cars braking a bit so i may opt for aftermarket disks...
Any good suggestions that are maybe cheaper or of equal value to the OEM ones (which i can always find at a junkyard or anything like that!) ?!?
    Thanks in advance...

I'd like to hear some suggestions as well, since any kind of rotor would be an upgrade. ( 318i brakes are horrible)

ATE power discs are what many people use. Cheap. I like mine

I have ATE power disks too. they're over 25,000 miles, pagid pads and the rotors aren't even half worn. that's with a heavy car, high speed freeway driving and several autocrosses.

I thought they needed replacement a while ago, but it just turned out that my brake sensor was rubbing on the rear wheel. oh well, it's less than $100 for both the pagids and ATE rotors at BMA.

Very good OEM spec replacement. If slotted rotors are what you're after, you can't go wrong with Ate PowerDisc. Very cost-effective upgrade for the E30. And anything other than OEM pads is an improvement too.

              Just for the record....

http://www.eap4parts.com has Ate PowerDiscs for '84/'85 318i are $36.95 each. They do not carry Balo rotors for that year/model E30.

I really like my ATE Powerdisks. They were cheap and work great!

the best upgrade you can do for your car is to change the fluid, get vented rotors if you dont already, use solid face rotors, and good street pads (Hawk HPs or Ferodo DS2500).

Ferodo are very good but they stop making them for the E30 :(
