Yeah that's what I meant. Fuck man, just get out there and do it. You can only learn so much reading on the internet.

oh, then use a screw driver and a BFH to loosen the collar. just dont tighten it on accident! the new inserts should come with a new collar and the tool for tightening it.

^IIRC they are normal threads. and i may have used a pipe wrench and a hammer to remove the collar... (it was a year ago)

                FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK

Got both struts replaced, took her for a drive, problem didnt go away.

Whats the symptoms of bad front wheel bearing? Or what else could it be? Feels kinda like the tire is halfway flat and theres a good little vibration through the whole front end.

Yes i did check it, but ill triple check it too. Gonna switch the front wheels to see if its the wheel/tire or if its the car.

And i mean the struts look in great condition and if you compress them they push back out like normal. The strut i pulled out wouldnt spring up at all.

how loose is the suspension now? can you easily pull the car up and down? were your bushings good?

Not sure what/where to look for bearing condition. The car feels solid while sitting, rocking the wheel back in forth didnt seem to feel loose at all.

if you have a bad bearing, their will be a noise and vibration that only increases with speed. how soon it starts depends on how bad the bearing is. it also usually gets worse/better if you turn hard in opposite directions.

                                Example:
bad front right. turning hard to the left puts more force on the right side of the car, so noise gets louder. turning hard to the right will lift the right side and the noise will go away.

also, you can jack the car up to turn the wheel and hear the scraping.
