Are 18's really to big for an e30????

I say 18's can only really work with plenty of low and MT2 kit, no stock body.

I've got a MT2

But this is all pointless because I ordered esm 002 17x8.5 today :-( Felt like it was my only option, I probably shouldv'e waited till spring since its going away for winter, but I got an itchy finger.

I wouldn't bum about the esm 002 purchase. Especially if you are trying to keep it under $1000. Did you already buy tires for them?

No I didn't I'm plan on running 215 40 17 Kumho Ecsta Platinum because it comes with a Tread wear rating of 600 AA and has a 60k mile warranty. I know I had a few options at 18's, but I love that old school/BBs/weave look more than I love wheel size, so I had to go with esm's.

IMO yes.

I wouldn't even rock 17's unless I had a M-tech kit.

Had 18s. Looked awesome, but highly impractical. Ride quality dips so much even compared to 17s. Also they take damage way easier. Go for it if the roads you drive on are smoother than a baby's tail end.

I wish my mom drove an e39 and had helped me in anyway with these wheels. She didn't, I'm a grown up. 18" 5's never came on e39's anyway. 7's only. Your right this is lame and stupid and your automatic sedan is what's happening.

my automatic AWD sedan is whats happening. i think that thing is dope.

its a sick cruiser that can pretty much do anything. yeah. its not a 5 speed. so what.

my last car was a 5 speed. and my next car will b a 5 speed. and my truck is automatic.
