well i love the e30 body so much, and the weaves flow with the car so welll. keeping the car classy looking from its day, weaves look awsome. bitch to clean yyes, but they r bbs as well.

i say it also depends on the color of the car, i think the weaves would look disgustin with delphin grey, i have bronzit, i used to hate bronzit so much but the weaves with the bronzit made me love the color

Bottlecaps are about 15lbs and 14" baskets are about 14lbs.

there's really nothing wrong with 14" weaves either, as long as they are clean:

I like them better without caps, but prefer 15" with them:

                    Stress Risers.

Weaves contain a gazillion little stress risers that are points of potential failure. The updated design came from competition and has rounded curves and fewer "weaves". As a result there are fewer failure points. Not a problem on the streets but the basketweave design wasn't the hot tip for racing. Form follows function. The newer ones are way cooler cause they're "racing" wheels and newer. IMO of course.

                          ps. BMW basketweaves are BBS
And why aren't they BBS? Some are made by BBS and some are not, Maybe yours were one of the 3 differant other manufacters.

Nando your iX always looks so pretty. But it's winter and it's supposed to be knee deep in snow like Yan's touring was.

Newer Lincoln's too. My dad's mid-90's Lincoln has 15" basketweaves on it.
