they are usually in the spot that he filled/drilled. they probably got ground off.

The reason I asked if it was my fault for using stock lugs, was because after I emailed him about what happened, he told me that i needed "tuner style" lugs. But seen in the previous post, he had a wheel with stock lugs on them.

Is it just 1 wheel that you test fitted? The picture Robrez posted, doesn't look like the same wheel you have.

My conclusion to this issue is, that because the holes where set up for tuner lugs, you stretched the CB by torquing them down in all 4 corners. The material will stress, regardless of what wheels or bolt pattern they were originally. (example= if these would have been 5x120 with tuner lug holes, and you used lug bolts, like you mentioned., the same thing would have happened)

I 'mnot deffending the seller by any means but, this does look like user error.

No, tuner lugs are much smaller in OD above the threads to fit down small holes. It is their whole point.

I would have expected a cast wheel to crack rather than warp like that. These are cast wheels right?

As I said previous is there a plastic or metal hubcentric ring in there that's actually the messed up part? It's hard to tell from the pic

This was my thought, it appears that the ring in the centerbore is the only part that's deformed, if it is removable you may get lucky and be able to replace it

the OEM heads on the stock lug bolts are much larger in diameter than tuner nuts. Did you notice that the stock bolts tried to stop at the face rather then go through the face to properly seat IN the lug hole?

Nope, he never told me I needed tuner lugs until after I messed them up. I told him before I bought them I needed them for an E30, and thought since the wheels were newly filled/drilled and it was suppose to be like that.

it kinda looks like they're 4x110's that have been torqued down on a 4x100.

when you were torquing the lugs down did it feel smooth or was it quite a bit of effort to get them all down? also, a bit of advice, it's always safer to torque lugs with a torque wrench. breaker bars are for busting them loose.
