My 89 325i has two new falken ziex ze 502 205 40 16 in the front and bald falkens in the back. There on Lenso BSX which i beleive are 16x7.5. I cant seem to source the falken 502 - 205/40/16.....Should i just try and by the same size tire in the back and call it a day or would you suggest purchasing a different tire size? Any tire recommendations ?

Okay, I'm asking this for a friend and I don't feel like reading 3800 posts. He has a late model with unrolled fenders. He is going to install eibach pros so they won't be stiff and he is running a 15x7 et12. He currently has 195, 55's and we know 205, 50's shouldn't have any issues. Would he be able to run anything wider without having any rubbing issues? If they were et20 or so I don't think it would be a problem but he is concerned due to the lower offset.1985 M10b18. 70maybewhpoffury. Over engineered S50b30 murica BBQ swap in progress.

16x9.5, et 35 on an E30, 5 lug with coilovers. What kinda spacers are needed?
If you cant give me a precise answer, something that will be slightly stretched, but have the same overall height will work just fine for me. Thanks!!My previous build (currently E30-less)

So I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on rubber for the E30 M3 and in my searching I have come up with a few questions. The wheels are staggered Hartge Type-A's in 16x7.5 Front and 16x8.5 Rear.
At first I really wanted to run a square tire set up with 225/45R16's. Now however I'm thinking of going with a staggered set with either 205/55's or maybe 215/40's in the front with the 225/45's in the Rear. Would the square set up look too wonky on the staggered wheels, there's only a 1" difference after all. If so, what would be the best option between the two front sizes? FWIW, Hartge originally mounted 205/45's Front and 225/45's Rear (as shown in pic below). I'd like as little difference in contact patch between the two axles, and as much understeer prevention as I can get.
As for tire selection, I'm pretty much set on Toyo R1R's, but the BF Goodrich KDW-2's are significantly cheaper and seem to get pretty positive reviews. The Toyo's would only work on the square set-up too due to their smaller size selection. Are the Toyos really worth the extra cash over the BFG's?

Lowered suspensions may need some rolling in the rear, front on my drop kit is all the way low with no issues.Originally posted by george gravesIf people keep quoting me in their sig, I'm going to burn this motherfucker down.
