it also says "253 ET30" on it...don't know what that means either.
What's the widest I can run on em, what sidewall height do you guys recommend and should I put thinner tires up front? I think I have 205/50/15 on the back and 195/50/15 on them right now.
Oh, also, what brand and type of tire do you guys suggest? Should I search around for a used set or should I get brand new?
That's a lot of questions, but I didn't want to get flamed for starting a new thread.
Thanks

Mystikal, I'm new to the site. Just picked up a 90 4dr and it has some rota 15x8 e4 wheels currently with some falken all season 195 50 15s. Car is lowered on GCs and fenders are rolled. How much tire can I fit do you think? BTW I am deciding between XSs, Azenis, RS3s, and Star Specs.
Thanks!

I've used all four of those tires and have a soft spot for the R-S3 right now. Star Specs are unbeatable for wet/dry combo though.Originally posted by blunttechAlways Always go for the reach around if there is an option

Will there be a noticeable decrease in performance when I make the drop from 205's to 195's? Or will it feel better because it's "optimal"?

So ill be needing 15mm spacers to clear the strut? ... test fitting it seemed like it cleared but very close to the strut for the tire
.... what would be an optimal tire size?
