Limited to 205/50s even with a flat rear fender roll.

And to everyone who posts thank you's, you're very welcome. I'm not an arrogant prick, I promise I read and appreciate all of the kind words. I fail to reply just in the sake of keeping the thread clean..ish.

Upon further looking they're stamped 20 and 22, I just pulled the E31 specs off google. I'm looking to not stretch, I'm only going to be on H&R race so not too low, I'm really hoping to fit the 225/235 setup.

i'm thinking 205/45 front & 215/40 rear. lmk your opinion and what brand of tires should i buy.

btw, i'm running IE3 w/ drop hats and koni sport on my late model

          Thank you,

thanks for the quick response. assuming no need to roll the fender. looks like it's hard to get 225/40/16. do you have any source? really appreciated :)

Hey I have a 1990 325is (don't know if the late year or IS model is different from other e30s)& I have bbs LM reps with a center bore 73.1mm. They are also 17x8 all around with a 40 offset :/. Im thinking of running a 225/35 all around. Beside hub centric rings, what size spacer (if any) would u recommend? Is it worth trying to make those fit me e30?

For a DD, what wheel size and tires (size and model) do you recommend? I've been thinking of picking up either euroweaves (15x7) or Rota Grids/Rota Slipstreams (16x8/15x8) with probably continental contactsports or michelin pilotsports if they are available for the wheel sizes. What are your thoughts/recommendations? Just remember it's for a DD and I have my "fun" wheels already.

Car is an 89 e30 4 door BTW and suspension is H&R sports with billies and drop hats.

Hey, I just wanted a quick confirmation before I order wheels for my winter setup.

                Car: 88' 325 2dr
Susp: Eibach springs + drophats (2"ish)
                Tires: 195/60/15 winterforce snows

Im trying to narrow it down between these two (cheap) choices, and I want to just make sure they will be an easy bolt up and look decent with nothing too complicated aside from hub-centric rings and possibly tuner bolts.

                Wheel 2) Konig Rewind 15x7 4x100 ET20
                Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/15X7-KONIG-R...ht_3049wt_1034

Any concerns, or should these bolt right up?
Thanks in advance, I appreciate it!

                  Jay,

On a not-slammed late model with H&R OE sport springs (1 inch lower than stock) and rolled fenders, and maybe 1.5 degrees of neg front camber (fixed plates), could I get by with 16X7et25 and 225-50-16? I know they're tall, but I'd be running a lot higher than most on this thread. Thanks in advance.

Hi there, im planing to order a set of Compomotive TH 17x8 and ET could be from 15 and above. So what would be the perfect ET for the front and the rear? And the tyres?
I was thinkin 17x8 ET20 at the front with 205/40
                    17x8 ET16 at the rear with 215/40
                    will it fit?

I got already rolled the arches at the rear.

                    Thanks in advance!!

Just for clarification, 17x8 +25(aka apex arc-8s) will fit with h&r races with only mild fender work? what about a 17x9 +20, more fender work, but not too much?

Stretching is 100% necessary. Even with a 215/40 stretched on all around, you'll be working the rear arches quite a bit to get them to fit.

Rolling will likely be necessary, depending on suspension setup and model year. Discounttiredirect.com for rubber

15mm front 20mm rear spacers with 73-57.1mm hubcentric rings. 215/40/17 tires (225/35 is undersized).
