Ive got a set of Schmidt Modern Line 15x8 +10 and they currently have 205/50R15 on them which are up for replacing...

What i was thinking, is will i be able to clear a 225/50R15 on the rear (car has billy sport/IE Stage 3 (315lb/570lb) and is a 1990 series 2). Im thinking it should be ok but thought id check to make sure....

Okay, stupid question. I bought a set of these BBS'es, and was wondering a few things about them.

5x120, et11, 7x14. With an adapter for 4x100, would it even be worth running on an e30? It'd be +9 for the offset with an 20mm adapter correct? Would that be okay with a 7" wheel?
The new offset would be -9. They'd probably work with like a 185/60 on them, but you would have ACRES of empty space between the wheels. Might look strange.

Not even close. Aggressive fender roll or possibly a slight pull would be necessary.

I was wondering what tire size would be best, and if I would need any spacers?

          Here is the potential setup:
1991 318is, GC Street coilover suspension.
          16x7 +25mm fronts
          16x9 +25mm rears

          Thanks!

What do you want from that setup? For maximum performance you can go 225/45/16 all around. For stance, 20mm front and 15mm rear spacers with 195/50 front and 205/45 rear.

Thanks - What about staggered tire size for performance? And I prefer no spacers.

Quick question. Will a set of Rota Grid offroads 17x9 et 20 fit on an early model without spacers? It's lowered on Billy sports and Bavauto springs. Will potentially be slammed on BC coils soon enough. I've done my math, but I'm just not quite sure.

                  Hey guys. Here's my situation:
OZ Vega 7x15 et?, 1.5" lips, 4.5" backspace (measured from where it touches the rotor to wheel edge)
I sold the 1.5" lips and want 2.5" lips.
Will the final ET be 0? Wheel will be 8x15. Is this chart correct?

btw, my car late model w/ IE3,koni sport & drop hats. really appreciated

That isn't "flush" but is a solid safe fitment. If you really want to push it:

                    20mm front spacers
5-10mm rear spacers (go as far you wish to venture with the roller)
                    Same rubber
Rolled rear fenders (may need a slight pull for the 10mm rear spacers)

i'm thinking to change the front lip from 1" to 1.5". it means i dont need to use 15mm spacer as you mentioned above. the rear i have no idea if i leave it as is. lmk your opinion thanks a lot..

should i run same size of tire? 205/45 all around i change the front lip?

I want to buy some rota grid 16x7 et40 wheels. Would they fit under an e30 with stock suspension and what tyre size should i run?

With a 7/9 stagger it will understeer quite a bit with staggered tires. I wouldn't stagger them if performance is your goal.

Needs 5mm front spacers for most struts. Not sure if the BC's can give you that little extra space (they definitely did on my E36 based setup).

Yes, 0 offset would be the result. In general, just halve the width you're adding and subtract it from the original offset.

                            7" wheel
                            Add 1" of lip (25.4mm)
                            25.4/2 = 12.7mm
                            12 - 12.7 = ~0

Changing the front lip will help the stance. I'd personally run the 205/45 all around and leave the spacers out of the equation for now. Add them later if you wish.
