Hardcore undercoating? That didn't come from the factory.

Perfect. I'd go 205/45 on the front though.

              Thanks!
225/45 won't work very well, and even 215/45 requires a very good roll + linear spring rates (coilovers).

hey there. front wheels are 17x7, rears are 17x8.5 both are et25. car is lowered about 2" all around, early arches. i was thinking 205/40 and 215/40, but i dont want the stretched tire look.. what would be a size bigger? any fender work? thanks!

4x100 M68 reps? Interesting. They'll fit fine, even with 225/45 tires.

                        215/40 F 235/40 R. Rolled rear fenders, nothing crazy.

                          Thanks for that info! :D

Just wanted to clarify since you said "+28ish"... so a 17x8.5 ET30 wheel with a 245/40/17 tire will fit in the rear without issues or fender work?

                          *crosses fingers*

                          17x8.5 et15 with 215/40 and 17x8.5 et30 with 245/40 would be a nice combo.

You *might* need to grind some material off the little protruding seam on the trailing arm (inside clearance). No biggie.
