    A's were built from 15" to 18".

      Nope. You need those sizes.

+20 is about dead-on. Very little space left to the trailing arms.

I'm looking to put 235-40-17 tires (star specs, maybe rcomp in the future?) on my car.
I have an early model with e36m3 front suspension and inline6 z3 hubs on stock trailing arms in the back. I'm running about -2degree rear camber right now and about -3 degrees up front.

I'm looking at getting 17x8 rims, but I'm not sure what offset I need. How easy of a fit will this but? My rear fenders are currently rolled a little bit, but the front isn't. Will I need to do a bunch of rolling to run these tires?
          Thanks!
          Which Z3?

The inline 6 z3 (non-m) hubs on stock e30 trailing arms. I believe this adds about ~23mm to each side of the car but I'm not 100% sure on that number. Front suspension is e36m3 (coilovers).

I'm wondering if I can get away with et38 17x8 rims (back is rolled) or if it will stick out too far. What would the ideal rim offset be?

          Thanks!

Yes, the non-M 6cyl Z3s had the long axles. 17x8 +38 should be perfect for your setup.

Square setup, full size tires. Coilovers. I wouldn't mind running the dtm flares. Spacers are fine.
What is the best size tire I could stuff under it?

^you're going to need at least 13mm spacers up front in order to clear the strut tube

I am looking at a set of wheels that are 17x7.5 et 20
however I believe they are for a nissan cause the center bore is 59mm.

                            Wheels are ATS Comp Lites.

                            Questions:
                            1. Can I get away with not running any sort of hubcentric spacer. The car has studs if that makes a difference.
                            2. Does anyone make a 59 to 57mm adapter?
                            3. My car is on Konis and GC coils. 550f/750r. I plan on using my current 16s for track wheels. What tire size for the 17s would be good for the street. I would prefer to run a 225/45 but I am not sure how that would fit. Tires are probably federal s595s as I have good experiance with them.

                            Thoughts?
