Just bought Borbet type S in 16x9 et15 square set up.

I'm guessing 20mm spacers and I'll need to order a stud conversion kit. Is this correct and do you guys have recommendations for brands for both?

    Thanks.

My 16x8 +20 setup hits the strut tower in the front! Just so your aware.
What is the smallest spacer you know of? I may just make some lol.
EDIT: e30rob makes all kinds of spacers, 3-8mm are available. Perfect!

That's what I'm worried about! What do you guys think would be an appropriate spacer size?

As for the lug stud conversion, I would prefer them to not poke out past the face of the wheel either.

I just put 16x8 +20 on mine, and to do a 16x9 you would need at least a 1 inch spacer

But I looked up some images and saw 215/40 and 45s for 17" that I will be running.

With the 17x8 in the front I know I wanna stick with a 215 for clearance on my adjuster nut for the coils. But with the rears 17x9 and 235/40/17(620mm) Then switching to the fronts 215/40/17(604mm) that is not close to the rear and looks really tiny in pictures on google. the 45 ratio looks alot better and has a final of 626mm. 6mm is not anything to notice. Again fenders don't mean a thing to me. Only question is do you think I should match ratios to have an over all matching height?

And vs the Rota's I will gain more clearance and the custom spacers will take care of the adjuster nut issue since the wheels are a 38et.

Never combo'd different sidewall ratios so that is why I am asking. Seems logical to me though. Thanks again man
                  205/45. Problem solved.

currently have H&R race 15mm spring pads rear, drop hats in the front. Rear fenders already rolled.

I want some Apex arc 17x8 et20 with either a 235/40-17 all around or 245/40-17(cheaper).
Just need to know if they would clear the struts and and be able to clear rolled fenders.
+25 you mean. 235/40 is the ideal size, 245/40 will likely contact a few areas.

3mm front spacers, and re-use the stock bolts. Done.

It shouldn't, that should have several mm of clearance. Something is off with your car.

That's a rear setup. On the front they would require 8-10mm spacers.

I have a set of Style 5's 17x8 et20 with adaptec 4x100 to 5x120 adapters that I want to run on my e30. What do I need to do to make this work and what tire size can I run?
