Should I go bigger with the spacers and bring the offset down further? I've seen some people stagger their spacers so the the rear wheels are wider apart than the fronts. Should I look into this? I know it may seem odd me trying to keep 14s but these wheels were free. Don't want them to go to waste. Primary use of the wheels will be highway driving/commuting. Any advice, corrections, etc. is greatly appreciated.

I'm alright with rolling the fenders if I need to.
      Yup, just roll the rears.

I have 205/55 R15 summer tires. Will it fit?
Needs spacers. Ideally, use 15mm front 20mm rear and those tires will fit perfectly.

Do you think I can clear the fenders without rolling them?
Fix the typo on the tire size, tell me the width of the wheels, and what car they're going on.

So I've got some BBS RS wheels coming.

                  Specs are: 17x7.5 et29 and 17x7.5 et26

These are going on an 89 325i coupe with GC coilovers.

Can't decide which of the following tire sizes would be best:

                  215/40R17
                  225/40R17

I'm trying not to stretch the tire at all. Currently running 15" euroweaves with 205/55R15 Yoko S.Drives.

What's the best fit? Fender rolling is not a prob...

Thinking of picking up some competition tires in the next couple weeks as I found the limit of my s-drives on the track this weekend. I am trying to decide if I should grab a set of 225/50-15 Toyo RA1's or step down to the 225/45's for clearance.

                          H&R Sport springs
22/19 sways (fairly minor bodyroll in turns)
                          All spring pads in place
                          15x7.5" et26 Racing Dynamics RG-P
No fender rolling, willing to tuck the inner lips if I must to avoid rubbing.

I would prefer the 205/50's as I'm not well geared on the local track for smaller tires, i'm worried it will force me into holding highers rpm's or shifting more often when I'd rather not have to. It's also against Pro3 regs, but I don't remotely qualify for their regs anyways (DD 4 door car, no cage etc)

Either 215/40 all around or 235/40 all around. Might need 5mm front spacers with particularly wide 235s.
